stendinis šaudymas statusas T sritis Kūno kultūra ir sportas apibrėžtis Sporto šaka – šaudymas aikštėje (stende) iš lygiavamzdžio šautuvo smulkiais šratais į ore skrendančius dirbtinius (iki 11 cm skersmens) taikinius (lėkšteles). Šaudoma tranšėjinėje aikštėje (šaulys, stovėdamas vietoje, šaudo į lėkšteles, išmetamas specialiu įtaisu – svaidykle – iš tranšėjos) arba apskritoje aikštėje (šaulys, eidamas puslankiu, šaudo į lėkšteles, išmetamas iš būdelių, esančių puslankio galuose). Stendinis šaudymas (šaudymas į balandžius) atsirado viduramžiais Anglijoje. Lėkštelės pradėtos naudoti 1880 m. JAV. Į olimpinių žaidynių programą stendinis šaudymas įtrauktas nuo 1900 m. Pasaulio čempionatai rengiami nuo 1935 m. Pirmasis čempionatas įvyko 1926 m. Lietuvos stendinio šaudymo atstovė D. Gudzinevičiūtė 2000 m.
